CHARLIE DARLING

With a passion for art that has been a driving force since childhood, I have dedicated my life to the craft of tattooing. I always knew, since I was very young, that I could never settle for art being a "hobby;" I get one life, and one shot to live my dreams and be a full time professional artist. After managing a tattoo shop for two years, I embarked on a two-year traditional tattoo apprenticeship, honing my skills and deepening my understanding of the industry. My commitment to excellence led me to then graduate from an Oregon licensed tattoo school, where I completed double the state's minimum requirements for practical procedures and hours, and have been tattooing full time for over a year, demonstrating a dedication to my craft that sets me apart.

Specializing in neo-traditional and Americana styles, I pay homage to the traditional designs that have shaped the industry while infusing modern techniques and tools into my work. I also enjoy fineline, script, black & grey and colorwork - you name it, I love it! I create a safe, inclusive, highly professional and private tattoo experience for my clients, all within the walls of a historic building, adding a touch of nostalgia to every session.

Outside of the studio, I find inspiration in nature and creative pursuits, including hiking, painting, crafting handmade watercolors and hand-carved block prints, and indulging in houseplants & aquariums. A self-proclaimed nerd, I enjoy quiet evenings at home, drawing, reading, and watching nature documentaries. Despite my chatty nature, I am an introvert at heart, finding solace in the simple pleasures of life.

Driven by a desire to constantly improve and elevate my career, I am committed to becoming the best artist I can be. My passion for art and unwavering dedication to my profession shines through in every tattoo I create, making me a sought-after artist for those looking for a blend of traditional charm and modern flair.
